The Council of Architecture (COA) going conduct the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2017 for admission into 1st year of 5-year B.Arch. Degree course at various Institutions in India for the academic session 2017-2018
NATA is an Aptitude Test conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) as one-day examination (paper based, OFFLINE) all over the country on 16th April 2017 (Sunday).
The NATA test 2017 Question paper has all MCQ types questions and its carries maximum of 200 marks
The offline paper based test conduct for a 3 hours time duration for maximum of 200 Marks
The candidates who passed Intermediate (10+2) (or) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with Mathematics as one of the subject of the examination, are eligible to apply for NATA 2017.

Educational qualifications :
Candidates may come from the following backgrounds
- 10+2 or equivalent passed / appearing with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination
- 10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed / appearing recognized by Central / State Governments with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Passed/Appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with Mathematics as compulsory of examination.

About Council of Architecture
The Council of Architecture (COA) has been constituted by the Government of India under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972, enacted by the Parliament of India, which came into force on 1st September, 1972. The Act provides for registration of Architects, standards of education, recognized qualifications and standards of professional conduct and etiquette to be complied with by the architects. The Council of Architecture is vested with the responsibility to regulate the education and practice of profession throughout India besides maintaining the register of architects. For this purpose, the Government of India has framed Rules and Council of Architecture has framed Regulations as provided for in the Architects Act, with the approval of Government of India.
