State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana invites from eligible to apply for Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) – 2017 for admission into Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering / Technology in Telangana Institutions. All the eligible and interested candidates can apply for Telangana POLYCET 2017 on or before last date i.e. 11th April 2017.

TS POLYCET Online Application, Hall ticket, Rank Card: POLYCET Online applications are started from 8th March, 2016. Polycet Syllabus consist of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and exam will be held for 120 questions. Polycet Hall tickets will be sent to the candidates or same made available online from one week before of examination. The polycet exam will be conducted on 22nd April 2017 and the Results of Polycet will be declared on 5th May 2017

What is TS POLYCET ?

POLYCET is also known as Polytechnic common entrance test which is used to be called as CEEP. POLYCET conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Hyderabad for admission into Diploma courses in Government, aided, Private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing Private unaided Engineering Colleges. POLYCET exam will be conducted every year in the month of April.

• Starting date for online applications: 08-03-2016 (Tuesday)
• Date of closure for online applications: 10-04-2016 (Sunday)
• Date of POLYCET 2016: 21-04-2016 (Thursday) 11.00 am to 1.00 pm
• Date of Polycet results 2016: 03-05-2016 (Tuesday) (Tentative)

TS Polycet Eligible Criteria:

Candidate shall be an Indian National and should pass in SSC (10th Class) or equivalent. Candidates who are appearing for 10th Class held in March/April-2016 can also appear for POLYCET-2016.

Polycet Application fee: Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 165/- for SC/ST Candidates and Rs. 330/- for all other.

TS POLYCET Hall ticket

Candidates will be sent hall tickets, in case the candidate did not receive the Hall ticket, he/she may download the POLYCET Hallticket 2016 through online from the Web Sites https://polycetts.nic.in or contact personally any help line center.

TS POLYCET Syllabus

POLYCET paper has been dividend into 3 sections which are as follow, Sections A covers Mathematics with 60 questions, Section B covers 30 questions of Physics and section C covers 30 questions of Chemistry. The syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for POLYCET-2016 is the same as that of SSC Examination of March/April-2016 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana. TS POLYCET will be held for 120 questions.

TS Polycet Rank Card

Results are expected to be announced on 3rd May, 2016 and the Polycet rank card will be issued within the one week of the date of results declaration.
